Dominic Antes is a freelance photographer.  Dominic’s primary style is swimwear and glamour, but also enjoys photographing sports and special events.  He has always had a passion for photography since he was a child, taking pictures of flowers and cars.  In 2005, Mr. Antes began to seriously pursue his dream when he purchased his first Canon digital SLR.  Dominic’s training began on the sidelines of football and baseball games, shooting over 150 games.  Then Dom was introduced to Nightclub photography, and has shot at over 100 events.  While working the club scene, he supervised and trained photographers working various nightlife events.  In 2007, Dominic took an interest in portrait photography.  Up to this point, He has photographed over 250 models in various locations including San Francisco, Beverly Hills, Miami, and JAMAICA.  Mr. Antes has displayed imaged on multiple promotional fliers, local newspapers, advertisements on buses, and menus.

Dom has had images in the following:  Rounder Magazine, Spire Magazine, TeaseUm Calendars, WickedTemptations.com, LookSwimwear, and TeaseUm swimwear.

Greg Woodson Photography

After growing up in the Southern California area and Las Vegas, Greg Woodson has spent the last twenty years residing in Dallas, Texas. He completed studies in Music Composition and Radio / Television / Film production in the fall of 1992.

After a brief stint studying photography in college, Greg spent much of his time in the music and computer fields for several years. In 2005, he resumed the study of photography. Richard Hunter, a sports-talk radio host in the Dallas area, asked Greg to help them cover the 2005 ESPN Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado. It was then that he decided to pursue photography as a full-time profession.

Over the next year, Greg Woodson started covering most of the major sports teams in the North Texas area, including the Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers. He also started focus on glamour and commercial photography. He completed the SportsPage Dallas 2005 Swimsuit Issue that summer and his first swimwear calendar that fall, for the Fort Worth Flyers Flygirls.

In 2007, Greg started traveling internationally for photography to compete in the 2007 Ujena Bikini Jam 23 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

His goals for the future in photography include more travel and producing creative imagery in many different categories, including glamour, commercial, fashion, and even celebrity personalities.

“IN8″ or Innate: existing in, belonging to, or determined by factors present in an individual from birth, Of or produced by the mind rather than learned through experience

It is that something (Innate or In8) that allows a painter to paint a fantastic picture instead of a mediocre one, and a photographer to take an eye-catching, great photo instead of an okay photo. You can have all the knowledge in the world about photography but that does not mean you can take great pictures!

This is a look at my attempt to take photos using this innate expression within myself.

I was born in Chicago Illinois and raised in Northern Minnesota

And moved to Buffalo area in 1988. I have always been interested in photography, but my life took a different direction. Over the past 10 years I was able to free up some time in my life to pursue my passion for photography.

I have photographed well over 700 models, and have done over 28 Calendar/Multiple Model shoots in the Caribbean as well as California & Florida. I have done printed Calendars for Fitness Model Melisa Ann, AmericanModels.com, Silverthorn Resort’s 2007 & 2008, Super Clubs Resort–Hedonism 2, GentWorld 2008, Sweet Dreams 2007, 2008, 2009 and TeaseUm Bikini’s 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 $ 2010 Calendars. I also contribute images to many Calendar Publishing companies around the world.

My main interest in photography is shooting swimsuit, glamour, and fitness. I am the Co-Founder and Director of Photography for AllStazz.com and Staff Photographer for American Curves Magazine. Staff photographer for Spire Lifestyle Magazine and MMA Sport Magazine.

After formalized training about photography, Mark (Imagezz.com) began working in 1989 for an upscale studio in the San Diego area as a photographer in training. Soon after shooting on my own, the studio staff had a hard time recognizing my work from my teacher’s, which was a great compliment to me as I really admired her style and beautiful imagery. I learned to develop my own style while there and learned the formal aspects of portrait photography which are still present in my current style. The style is a complex blend that has been hard to categorize, but widely acclaimed.

WYSIWYG-(What You See Is What You Get)…I shoot for consistency during my shoots and not just looking for that one killer image from a set. The sample photos are a single photo taken during a set with typically many more in the set of the same quality and consistency. I do not have the time to edit a single photo to perfect it but rather shoot with consistent lighting and exposures to create a series of photos that can be used directly from the camera without need to adjust exposures, color, cropping or other alterations in Photoshop other then for skin and blemish editing. WYSIWYG!

I am located in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada and always willing to travel. Some of the other countries I have been able to visit include: Costa Rica, Brazil, Canada, Jamaica, Japan, Guam, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Chris Santi was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. A self proclaimed “computer geek” since the age of 18, now 33, Chris has grown his self taught hobby of photography into a passion for the art. Along with his brilliant eye for photography, Chris is also an amazing self taught Photoshop wizard with a keen eye for design.

He has photographed over 100 models from around the world including “on-location” shoots in the Bahamas, Jamaica, California, and Florida. He has been printed in Ultimate MMA , TeaseUm Bikini’s 2010 Calendar, Krown Magazine, Moves Magazine, and has appeared in a number of online magazines. Some of the models he has shot: Angela Sommers, Playboy Model Amber St. James, Playboy Model Sydney Barlette, Playboy Model Dylan James, and Playboy Model Brandi Corbin to name a few.

In addition to his model list, Chris has also work along some of the top glamour photographers in the country learning their tips and tricks. “Spending a week learning from some of the best photographers in the industry does tremendous things for your work. Being able to retain that knowledge is the key.” Some of those photographers have been: Todd Plinke, Mark Mozzier, and Matthew Cousins. “I actually roomed with Matthew for some time and learned a shit ton from that old guy ! ”

His design expertise has allowed him to create TeaseUm Bikini’s 2009 & 2010 Swimsuit Calendars, Numerous business cards, logos, event flyers, and websites. He’s currently working on a few websites that will soon be launched. The first is a fully integrated CMS concept for the modeling/photography industry and the others are Membership based websites geared towards the working models and photographers.

As the recent CIO of TeaseUm Bikini, Chris’ passion for the industry has been an eye opening one. His recent separation with the company has allowed him to see a need for structure in the industry. He’s determined to make modeling & photography affordable, fun, safe, and lucrative for everyone involved in the business.

His thoughts:

“If you have the drive and passion for your modeling or photography and you wish to be treated respectfully, then that’s what I want for everyone else. Why can’t we all be professionals in this industry, pay the model, pay the photographer, that way everyone is happy. The commonality is simple. Great photographers = Great Photographs. Great Models = Great Promotions. Great Promotions = Great Revenue. Great Revenue = Happy Photographer & Models. Now here’s the catch, you could have a great photographer, but if he’s an asshole and pisses off the model, how does he get a great photograph? That makes for Bad Promotions which equal Bad Revenue, and it goes down the line. Bottom line is, we are our own business within an industry. No one tells us how to run it, we just do. But just like car mechanics, you’re gonna have a few bad ones. No one regulates that. Now how does the customer (the model) know if this mechanic is ASE certified? She doesn’t. This guy could have ulterior motives or just wants to jerk off to the pictures he took. That’s not fair to the model. It’s a waste of everyone’s time…well except the guy jerkin off.. but do you see what I mean? No regulation is bad for business. We need to take it upon ourselves to uphold that level of professionalism that makes or breaks Great Photographers. Dudes make up probably 90-95% of the industry photographers, you may be great, but if you’re a creep or give off bad energy, you probably should find another occupation, seriously. Then there’s what we call, GWC’s. These are “Guys With Cameras.” They are essentially the wolf on the hunt for the sheep, preying on unknowing models who are still naive to the industry. Who knows what their motives are and, personally, I don’t care. All I know is that they have a camera and usually a slick tongue and make you believe they are someone they are not. Sometimes there’s a fine line between hobbyist and GWC. You can usually tell a GWC within the first 10 minutes of meeting them. They want to get you naked, ask you out, whatever it is they give off that creepy vibe and energy odds are they’re a GWC. But if they actually collaborate with you and show an genuine interest in the ART you two are creating, then odds are he’s just a guy with a camera trying to make something with something he loves to do. I was that guy once. “

You work out your availability with the photographers who want to shoot with you and book it. All photographers are required to pay for their shoot in cash.

As a model you are able to shoot at your comfort level. If you want to shoot in a ski outfit and the photographer agrees, then that’s up to you. If you are a bit more risqué and like to show your goods, then that is also entirely up to you.  We have standardized the shoot rates per half hour to level the playing field for all models who participate and believe they are more than fair for all levels of models.

The rates are as follows:

up to:
Implieds:   $50 per half hour  plus $25 model release  (one time fee per photog)

Nude: $75 per half hour  plus $35 model release (one time fee per photog)

FAQ’s

-What does “up to implieds” mean?

Implieds are photographs that look like you’re nude but something is covering your goodies such as a hand or a piece of clothing.

-I don’t shoot implieds, does this mean I have to?

NO! You are not required to shoot implied but make sure to discuss your level of shooting comfort with the photographer before booking. This will allow the photographer to make an informed decision when booking.

-What’s this model release thing?

Most photographers, when paying a model, will have you sign a model release. This releases the photographs they took of you, over to them. It is standard industry practice.

-Does every photographer have a model release?

No. Not every photographer has a model release. As a model, prior to shooting with any photographer you should always ask for a copy of their release. This will allow you to make an informed decision about if you want to shoot with them. If they don’t provide a release with what they plan on doing with the pictures, odds are you don’t want to shoot with them.

-How do I make money?

We provide the outlet and structure and you provide the marketing. I’m sure, as a model, you know a lot of photographers who’d love to shoot with you. Well here’s your chance to get them to shoot you.  Hit them up on modelmayhem or facebook or twitter or whatever form of social media we all use nowadays. Tell them you’re shooting with the AllStarzz and will be participating in their “Private Sessions” on Sunday. Send them to the registration page and have them pay their registration fee. Once they’ve paid, we’ll let you know and you take care of the booking time. When they show up at their scheduled time, collect your fees, sign the release, and shoot! Its that simple!!

-How much can I potentially make??

If you are a model who shoots nude, and you book each of your available time slots with 10 different photographers, you will bring home

10 slots x $75/half hr = $750
+  10 model releases x $35 = $350
Total = $1100

Now that is best case scenario. If you only shoot up to implieds in the best case scenario, your max potential would be $750. Not bad for a days work.

-Do I have to participate?

It is NOT required to participate but we urge everyone to participate in that we provided a wonderful event filled with amazing photographers to shoot with over the weekend. Plus, its a chance to network and get paid! Its a win win!!

-How do I get my time slots filled?

As a model, it is necessary to market yourself to photographers in order to book your times. Places such as ModelMayhem, OneModelPlace, and other social networks are great ways to promote yourself.

Models, here is your chance to get an intimate shoot experience with the Founders of AllStarzz. Chris, Mark, and Todd are holding a casting for their next big event later this year. Make sure to register to have your chance to be one of the 12 models selected to be apart of this event. Don’t expect large crowds of GWC’s or Guys just looking to hook up. We’re looking for our next AllStarzz Angel and you could be one of them!!

Some suits will be provided by Colleen Kelly Designs but please bring your best outfits as we will be picking ONE lucky model for an ALL EXPENSES PAID trip to our next major event, which will be held later this year.

This casting will be held in Burbank, CA and ALL models are welcome to register. There will be 6 openings available each day. If you would like to shoot both Friday & Saturday, please let us know when you register and you can shoot both days.

Model must provide their own transportation to and from the location unless you are flying into Burbank airport, in which we will have a Limo pick you up. If you are coming from out of town we do have 4-5 spots available to stay at the location for the weekend.

Food and Beverages will be provided.
